About Surreybrooke

Garden Center

Surreybrooke is a garden center in Middletown, Maryland. It is listed at 8610 Baltimore National Pike, Middletown, MD 21769, which places it among the local businesses of Middletown that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as tourist attraction, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

In Middletown, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Maryland, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

The business lists hours on 3 days of the week. Typical hours are 10 am–2 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (301) 371-7466. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is surreybrooke.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 235 reviews, which is a strong result for a garden center in Middletown and suggests consistent service.

Middletown is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Middletown follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I absolutely love Surreybrooke! My first time there was for a wedding shower and have been there for multiple events since. We just hosted our own wedding shower here and it was perfect. The place is beautiful with so many flowers! The guests absolutely loved it and the host is amazing to work with. Also, a great price for such a beautiful location. PERFECT for hosting an event of your own. Trying to think of another event I can host so we can go back!

I can’t say enough great things about this garden center and display garden! This is well-worth an afternoon wandering the greenhouses and paths. You’ll find awesome artwork as well as beautiful combinations throughout.

23June2024 Lovey, calming, enchanted, welcoming massive garden nursery, property. There is a wonderful garden for kids to the right as you walk on the nursery property. There are so many perennials, annuals, flowers, and rare succulents in the open air nursery (to the left of the property when you walk in). One of a kind stepping stones, statues, and house ornaments. There is a huge pond far off to the back of the nursery by the stable where the horse is. So gorgeous and tranquil. The koi pond across the bridge to the cottage store. The gift store is neatly spaced and place which makes for wonderful shopping and shopping experience. The person that runs this nursery knows all the prices of everything item and plant on the property. You won’t be able to leave here without buying something. This nursery is so ascetically pleasing from the massive trees, gorgeous surroundings, koi pond, and gentle breeze as if you were walking the sands at Turks and CaicosπŸ‡ΉπŸ‡¨.This is a must stop and I know you will be so glad you did. They have August hours Friday & Saturday 10a.m.-2p.m., closed Sunday-Thursday.

This quiet place of solitude is amazing. We met with a friend and the really nice gentlemen that owns it gave the kids food for the fish. That made it so memorable as the plants were all sold and the gnats were bad that day. I love the tree house and kids garden.

Surreybrooke is just a beautiful place to walk around & breath in nature. They have various flowers & shrubs planted on the property so you can see them & be inspired. Plus they offer many varieties for sale including a great succulent dept. They also have outdoor seating, statuary, stepping stones, gazing balls & stands, garden soil, and smaller gift items all for sale. All in all a unique place that is not your ordinary garden center. If you have a question the owners are right there working & are ready to help...and they are lovely people too. I visit several times a season & look forward to it.
